I have to agree with most of the reviews I've seen in that this is, indeed extremely similar to the "fishy" game, but I really like that fact that the slightest touch won't kill. It does sorta lack on the sound and the graphics are pretty bland, but that's all secondary for this style of game anyway, so the lack didn't affect my enjoyment of the game at all. And man, this things addictive . . .

"No problems that aren't reletively easy to fix."
You've got a good idea here . . . not neccesarily original, but nonetheless good.
A couple of things that would make it imensely better:
Clicking on the answers is difficult because you have to line up exactly. Making them into buttons would help immensely and also clear up the issue of the text being somewhat hard to read on the Zelda page.
Two lives is fine, but a replay button at the end would be nice for those who can't make the cut.
Beyond those minor things, more content would also aid the game significantly, of course, this would entail more chanses for failure, making it seem more like classic hangman anyway.
My advice: Improve it. This looks like it may get blamed: Many games are for reasons as minor as simple interface difficulty. But if it does, try again with a couple of tweaks and see if that doesn't double your scores.

I was somewhat hesitant to try this game out. I've seen some combination games on newgrounds and the results aren't always . . . worthy of the time spent looking at them. But I was greatly relieved to find that my only concern with this game is that I really should quit playing and study for finals . . . but meh, it's dead week -- I've got plenty of time . . .
I grew up playing the original space invaders and I rather resent the comments on some of the recent reviews asking for better graphics, and especially different gimmicks. Space Invaders is great as it is; better graphics are never a bad thing, I like the use of Zelda sprites, a neat take on it, but if you do improve graphics remember that gameplay trumps graphics 99% of the time. But when you try to introduce new weapons and whatnot, you get a completely different style of game. I've seen what happens when you put new weapons into SI. It becomes a 2d flight sim, and a sub-par one at that.
Thus, I ask you humbly *not* to add any new weapons or gimmiks. I mean, you can hardly go wrong with something that's been right for this long, so why take the chance?
The only real thing that bothered me about the game was the sound. When the enemies get closer, the sound speeds up and it gets fairly annoying rather quickly.
Other than that one minor flaw, this is definately a 5.

Great look, great music, and seamless blending between the two. I love your choice of subject--common enough that everyone has done it, yet still nerve-racking and frantic . . . not a usual choice for a musical flash, but this is clearly no ordinary flash.
Keep up the excellant work.

"yes, because that hasn't been done before . . ."
Oh, and if you're going for that sort of gag, try to get your languages straight . . . konnichiwa is japanese, so it was pretty obvious that this was farce from the start.

Thing-Thing is imho the best madness style game out there and this only cements the position. I would like to make one suggestion though: You ought to have it set to automatically switch to the next weapon when one runs out.

Not the best game I've ever played, but quite possibly the most original idea I've seen.
Just out of curiosity, where did the idea behind this come from?

The best mouse-guiding game I've seen yet
And one random bit of advice to other players: Never, ever, play mouse games on a touchpad, no matter how bored you are . . . it's just not possible

"No English, feh. English is overrated."
It's flashes like this and the first one that let me know that I will never be competitive in the world of flash . . .
The graphics were simple, yet masterfully animated. I loved all of the subtle facial expressions (the cat's eyebrows at the end of the first still makes me laugh after seeing it a few times) and how natural you made the movements and perspective changes.
The only ratings it lacked in were violence, duh, and interaction, duh. I decided not to give a 0 for sound, because the lack of sound effects is made up for by rather skillful mixture of the music with the animation.
Great flash.

Subliminal messages don't work. No, I do not love this movie very much. And you are not god. Nice try.
